OUR TEAM
Adults, children and teens that walk into Animal Assisted Therapy of the Mountain Communities are greeted by at least 2 animals when they walk in the door! We have several therapy dogs, cats, and guinea pigs with us in the office.
EQUINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY
Equine Therapy addresses a variety of mental health and human development concerns including behavioral issues, substance abuse, eating disorders, emotional and sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, relationships and communication.
ANIMAL ASSISTED THERAPY
The impact that animals have during a therapy session is profound. It integrates animals with intention and purpose into psychotherapy, with interventions designed to benefit the cognitive, social and emotional functioning of the client.
